THE BACKSTORY

I absolutely love woodworking, but it’s a very expense hobby. My wife and I had too many conversations that went something like this:

Me--Hey, if I bought this fancy new tool ($$$$), then I could save a whole bunch of money by building this end table ($) myself.

Wife--Rolls eyes (she’s good at math).

Eventually, I decided my hobby needed to pay for itself, so I designed and built flower boxes out of inexpensive cedar fence pickets to sell on Facebook and at a local nursery.

I quickly realized I could make a lot more money if I built them in batches with specially designed jigs. This has been a game-changer - I EARN $40-$50 PER HOUR for my shop time (that's after accounting for materials). My boxes are priced at $75, $65, and $55.

4. Cut lists for single boxes. I included these in case you want to just build one at a time.
5. Text for your listing. I’ve provided the text I use in my local Facebook Marketplace listing so you can just cut and paste it into your listing.
